We started the morning with Min where she took us through the local... read more market picking up a variety of fresh produce for our cooking class. Once we got to the village we had a beautiful stroll through the vegetable garden learning about all the different vegetables and getting to experience farming and the techniques that are used on a daily basis. Min and her family showed passion, enthusiasm and hospitality and made us feel at home. We got to prepare and cook 4 dishes with the guidance of Min who gave us background information on each dish as well as bringing fun and laughter whilst cooking. Min and her family ensure you have the best time possible, we had so much fun and joy in this experience. I would highly recommend this unique experience to all! This is a Must do!!.

After the visit at the market we went bikeriding through the rice fields which was so nice! The second part of the tour was the cooking class and the farming. There we met up with Jessica. Jessica is wonderfull! She and her sister have a great sense of humor! We laughed so much and had the best time! The food is amazing, fingerlicking good actually!! We could eat their fish clay pot dish and the very crispy springrolls EVERY DAY! 😍 Overall we would highly recommend this class!! Keep up the good work!

  Lemon & Basil Cookery- a must do in Hoi An - Jessica came & meet us at the hotel from Lemon & Basil Cookery & walked with us to the market to buy our local produce to cook. We didn't want... read more to push bike so went in a golf cart to the farm, great fun. Everything was so well organised and the family (Aunties, Uncles etc) made everything a fun experience from working up the ground to trying to water the plants. We came inside had a foot massage, neck, shoulders & head. Then the cooking lesson started. We enjoyed this and sitting down to eat the local produce & what we had managed to cook. It was very hot for us in September but they had fans on & lots to drink if we needed it. Then a ride back to the hotel. Thoroughly recommend a fun, must do activity to do in Hoi An.
